The history of Exfolmo dates back to 1988. The company was founded by the late Maria Olesińska. The name comes from the combination: EXport FOLii Maria Olesińska.
The company grew in the plastics industry and for many years was present at industry trade fairs, including the K trade fair in Düsseldorf, the Plastpol trade fair in Kielce and the Chinaplas trade fair.
Dr Magdalena Laabs worked in her mother's company for 17 years and got to know the plastics industry from childhood. When her mother stepped back from the business, Dr Magdalena Laabs took over the specialist know-how and has been running and developing the brand ever since. Exfolmo Dr Magdalena Laabs is the sole legal successor to the Exfolmo Maria Olesińska business.
Today Exfolmo focuses on technology consulting and training for manufacturers of plastic products. The company's headquarters are in Eberswalde, and the Kielce office is its Polish representative office. Entities with a similar name are not branches or representatives of Exfolmo Dr Magdalena Laabs unless expressly identified as such on this website.
In parallel, Dr Magdalena Laabs developed Rolbatch, a company specialising in machinery for plastics processing and recycling, blown film technology and projects for the production of films, pipes, profiles and sheets. The experience gained in this field complements Exfolmo's current consulting and training offer.
